Book Recommendations for my Grandkids

Max Explains Everything Grocery Store Expert by Stacy McAnulty illustrated by Deborah Hocking Max is an expert at well, everything. That is because his parents make him do EVERYTHING. This humorous tale in the series follows Max, a self proclaimed know it all through the grocery store. Preschoolers will giggle through Max's antics as Max picks out his favorite cold cereal and healthy and not so healthy  snacks. Ages 3 - 7  

 Snack Attack by Terry Border Cookie, Pretzel, and Cheese Doodle are off on an adventure outside their packages. They must watch out for the Monster Kid who is always after them. At first, the Snacks have fun exploring the house. Then they see the notes from Mom. She tells the Monster Kid that she will be late and eat a snack. Little ones will giggle through this book. Ages 3- 7

 Over in Australia Amazing Animals Down Under by Marianne Berkes Illustrated by Jill Dubin  Rhyming text with delightful pictures and animals to point to on each page. We enjoyed the Fact or Fiction?, Australian Animals are Amazing, Hidden Australian Animals, About the Animals, and tips from the author and illustrator section in the back of the book. Ages 2 - 7

 Don't Forget Dexter by Lindsay Ward Delight book written from the perspective of a toy dinosaur forgotten (or so it seems) in the doctor's waiting room as his friend Jack is there for a check-up. Point at familiar things on each page as you explain waiting is not easy. Ages 2- 5
