A Jataka Tale from India
This is a story about and hungry crocodile and a resourceful monkey.
The crocodile thought the monkey would be tasty and tried to trick the monkey to come close to him so he could eat him. The monkey wanted a way across the river and was trying to trick the crocodile into giving him a ride on his back.
The moral of the story is that quick thinking can save you from trouble.
Good for k - 2 kids.
